The 3rd China (Macao) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum
The 3rd China (Macao) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum will be jointly hosted by Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, PRC, and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, from September 25 to 29, 2024, with the patronage of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council ("SASAC"), the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The purpose of the event is to fully practice the new development philosophy, actively foster a new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other, follow through on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions regarding the development of Hengqin through Guangdong–Macao cooperation, and support the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin, in alignment with the requirements on "holding an international premium quality consumer goods expo and a world bay area forum and building a convention and exhibition platform with influence across the globe" and "supporting cooperation between Guangdong and Macao to establish a quality imported consumer product trading center and create an industrial ecosystem for trading quality consumer goods" as set forth in the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Master Plan of the Development of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin.
