Muay Thai and Music Come to The Venetian Macao

World-class fighters to face off at the Cotai Arena in October

(Macao, Sept. 2, 2015) – Thailand’s spectacular and extreme combat sport is coming to The Venetian® Macao in October. Xtreme Muay Thai 2015 Macao, the all-action and high-kicking fight fest fused with energetic music from Cantopop bands, will land at the Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao on Oct. 3, 2015. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 4 at all Cotai Ticketing™ box offices.

The art of eight limbs, as Muay Thai is also known, will see fighters battle against each other with the sole goal of knocking their opponent out. Unlike boxing, Muay Thai fighters can utilize their feet, knees and elbows in addition to their hands in order to secure a victory, which gives a new meaning to the term knockout.

Xtreme Muay Thai 2015 Macao features some of the top Muay Thai fighters in the world, and they are sure to thrill fight fans in the multi-bout event at the Cotai Arena. Bouts are as follows.

XMT International Championship

Parkon (Thailand) vs. Aleksei Ulianov (Russia)

WBC Muay Thai International Challenge

Ain Wichian (Thailand) vs. Bill Chong (Hong Kong)

Super Fight

Cai Liang Chan (Macao) vs. James Heelon (Ireland)

XMT Asian Championship

Yuichiro Jienotsu Nagashima (Japan) vs. Li Yan Kun (China)

Xtreme Muay Thai 2015 has the theme “Fight Hard x Party Hard,” and fulfilling the party aspect will be popular music acts from Hong Kong. Bands Taichi, MR., LMF and event emcees Sammy Leung and King Kong will turn the festival of fighting into a full on party as they blast out music to add to what will be an already electric atmosphere.
