Timeless Singers Qing Shan and Poon Sow Keng to Perform at Venetian Theatre



(Macao, Jan. 10, 2018) – Veteran Taiwanese singer Qing Shan, along with the renowned female performer Poon Sow Keng, will together bring their Songs of Yesteryear Part 3 - Qing Shan & Poon Sow Keng concert to The Venetian® Macao’s Venetian Theatre on Feb. 24, 2018. Tickets are now on sale at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.

Dubbed as “Taiwan King of Songs”, Qing Shan has been singing for over 40 years. This true musical legend was a phenomenon in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and other Chinese communities around the world especially in the 70s and 80s. His greatest hits including “Tears of Flower”, “Love is hard to Guard”, “Wonderful Life”, “Searching for Dream Land”  and “Green Island Serenade”, have created a huge impact on Mandopop development at that time, and these songs have also been covered by many famous singers like Theresa Teng, Yao Su Rong and Yu Tian.

Poon Sow Keng was born in Macao and but grew up in Malaysia and was well-known for her song “Lovers’ Tears” which she performed at aged 18. Her low but appealing voice has given her many opportunities to perform theme songs for a number of movies, including “The Luck of Love” and “Every family has a story”.

The two evergreen singers will join hands to charm their audiences with their Macao concert - Songs of Yesteryear Part 3 - Qing Shan & Poon Sow Keng, which will surely delight their avid fans. Catch the performance by these two musical legends at The Venetian Macao on Feb. 24, 2018.
