Hubert de Givenchy began his fashion house specializing in Haute Couture and ready-to-wear in 1952. Givenchy earned a reputation for breaking fashion codes of its time. Today, Givenchy remains synonymous with the notions of fresh modernity and aristocratic elegance. The House opened a chapter by appointing Matthew M. Williams as Creative Director.
